The SMS36 and SMS88 series magnetic sensors combined with the relative AMS36 and AMS88 series magnetic actuators constitute coded safety devices suitable for controlling the protections and guards of machines with limited inertia. If they are combined with a suitable safety module, like the AECO one of the MS-ER MA R01 series, it is possible to create a safety control system with an integrity level up to SIL "3", according to EN 62061 or IEC 62061, performance level up to PL "e", according to EN ISO 13949-1, architectures up to category "4", again according to EN ISO 13849-1. In compliance with the requirements of EN ISO 14119, the magnetic actuator must be fixed to the mobile part of the guard, while the sensor to the fixed part. When the coded magnetic actuator and the sensor are at a relative distance less than the expected detection distance (Guard closed), the sensor recognizes the actuator by activating its output contacts. The sensor is activated only in the presence of its coded magnetic actuator and not with a common magnetic actuator. THE Aeco magnetic safety sensors are supplied with cable output or with connection for integrated or flying M8 connector and with flying M12 connector.
